Springs Preserve Lights Up For The Holidays

If you’re looking for something festive to do with the family, head to the Springs Preserves for their Winter Lights Festival.  Aside from all of the great interactive exhibits about our desert beginnings and a fantastic Wolfgang Puck restaurant to sip a hot toddy or have a nice meal, now the desert gardens are lit with thousands of enviro-friendly LED lights!  Eveything in the garden -from cacti to Mesquite trees - are adorned with colorful bright lights from branch to branch.  The hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday starting November 28 through Dec. 21.  Then daily Dec. 22 - Dec. 30, except Christmas Day.  It is free to Annual Pass members, Non members $8 adults, $6 children 5-17.  Free ages 4 and under. Includes admission to museums and galleries. Additional fees apply for carriage and train rides.  Check out the beautiful pictures!  http://photos.lasvegasnow.com/thumbnails.php?album=192
